April 8, 2024 – Waltham will be in the zone to see about 93% of the solar eclipse on April 8, 2024, which can be viewed from 2:16pm – 4:39pm.  Erin requested eclipse glasses for the students at Northeast for a whole school event.  The WEBF board thought it was a great idea and decided to purchase eclipse glasses for all seven Waltham elementary schools, allowing each student to witness this rare occurrence.
